KV Gautam is a motivational speaker, cartoonist, author, digital expert, dating expert and life long learner of human psychology based in Delhi, India. He is the writer of best-selling novel Love in Crazy Times and motivational book Impossible is Fun.
He has been a TEDx speaker. A major documentary film was made on his life titled Comic Fingers and was screened at 16 international film festivals. He has been given awards like Young Icon of the Year in 2019 and Sanjeevni Bhushan in 2017.
He has delivered motivational talks at several prestigious organizations like The Times of India, Delhi University, Jaypee University of Information Technology and Lingaya’s University.
As a cartoonist he has worked for leading newspapers like the Hindustan Times and the Dainik Jagran, and illustrated several books. K. V. Gautam was given Sanjeevni Bhushan Award by Sanjeevni TV group in New Delhi on 13 August 2017. He has won many contests on drawing and painting. In 1994, he was awarded with the First Prize in the Poster Contest on the theme of population control, organized by the Population Education Fund of the State Government. He was awarded with Certificate of Merit in the national contest of International Poster Contest – 1993 on the theme of Population and Our World, jointly organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT).
Gautam was invited to deliver a speech at a TED event at TEDx JUIT at Solan, Himachal Pradesh on 24 August 2014. In the year 2008, he was invited to conduct a Cartoon Workshop by BITS Pilani, one of top 5 engineering colleges of India.
On 22 October, 2009, K V Gautam was invited as a guest to conduct a Caricature Workshop at IIT Kanpur, a premier engineering college of India. Invited by Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, to distribute prizes to students at inter-school competitions in November 2011. Forty schools participated in various events.
He was invited as a Guest by Anna University, Chennai in February 2012. He taught students how to draw cartoons and caricatures, and judged and distributed prize in a cartoon contest, a part of the university’s annual cultural festival held from 1-3 February 2012. KV Gautam has been the subject of a major documentary film Comic Fingers. The documentary film got rave reviews and was screened at 16 international film festivals in the year 2016.
